Sydney Airport says it welcomes the New South Wales government’s moves to open consultation process for the expansion of the M5 corridor.
“Given the growth in truck movements from the expansion of Port Botany, the additional traffic generated by residential and commercial developments such as Green Square and the forecast increase in passengers flying to and from Sydney Airport, it is essential that planning for upgrades to the region’s ground transport is not only advanced but resolved in a reasonable timeframe,” said Sydney Airport CEO Russel Balding.
