Italian manufacturer Tecnam and Austrian company Airborne Technologies GmbH have teamed up to offer a surveillance variant of the twin engine P2600 as the Tecnam MMA (Multi Mission Aircraft). In MMA configuration, the aircraft is able to carry a payload of 360kg, including electro-optical sensors, tactical HF radio and uplink and downlink systems as well as enough fuel for a five hour mission. As such, it is being targeted at government and high-end private security firms.
