Air New Zealand fights off Jetstar & Pacific Blue

It may be known affectionately as the land of the long white cloud, but many in the airline industry would typify New Zealand as the land of the long running domestic airline battle.

And this is battle that is so intense that it prompts Air New Zealand’s CEO Rob Fyfe to strip down to next to nothing for an advertising campaign to highlight the airline has nothing to hide, while Jetstar’s CEO Bruce Buchanan was forced to issue an apology to New Zealanders and a guarantee after his airline’s initial services this year were heavily disrupted.
