Quickstep
WA company takes composites to a new level
While composites have long been seen as the future of the aviation industry, Quickstep Technologies has been at the forefront of developing new composite capabilities, and will also soon be building world-class composites from its facilities in WA.
Quickstep was originally incorporated in 2001 with the aim of commercialising its patented Quickstep process for curing composite materials for the aerospace and defence industries rapidly without the use of an autoclave. Since then, it has also expanded its operations to include composite parts manufacturing and also has some major paid research and development work at centres around the world, including some embedded with technology leading organisations.
