Upbeat amongst the gloom

The weather may have been downbeat and the mood certainly was but enter AirAsia’s founder Tony Fernandes and the sun started to shine at the Paris Air Show in June – at least for Airbus.

Fernandes message to the industry was simple; “There is business out there if you go out and find it. I know it’s bleak out there but there is light.” And Fernandes gave some light to Airbus announcing an order for 10 A350-900s plus five options.
