Jetstar Took Delivery of A321-231 Vh-vwx at Newcastle on May 16 After the Airbus Ferried in From Hamburg/finkenwerder via Dubai, Singapore and Darwin as Flight Jq7992. Vh-vwx is the Third of Type in the Jetstar Fleet, and Ferried From Newcastle to Sydney as Jq7982 on May 23 Before Entering Service Later That Day From Sydney to Brisbane as Jq818.

Vh-zpm’s Ferry Flight, as Dj9082, Took It Initially From São José Dos Campos to Christchurch Where It Arrived on May 5 via Barbados, Fort Lauderdale, San Jose, Lihue and Pago Pago. Between May 6 and 8 the E-190 Visited Wellington, Auckland, Hamilton and Invercargill Before It Departed Christchurch for Brisbane. in the Period July-december 2008 12 Turboprop Airliners Were Delivered to Airlines or Charter Companies in Our Region. These Comprised Four Beech 1900ds, Three Dash 8‑q400s, and Five Saab 340bs.

In Total, Twin Turboprop Deliveries for 2008 Stood at 29 Aircraft, While Deliveries for 2007, 2006 and 2005 Were 42, 47 and 25 Respectively.

July Saw the Delivery of Saab 340b+ Vh-zlv to Regional Express at Wagga Wagga as N386ae on the 9th.

August Deliveries Were Saab 340b+ Vh-zlo to Regional Express at Wagga Wagga as N382ae on the 11th and Dash 8-q402 Vh-qok to Qantaslink in Brisbane as C‑fqxu on the 14th.

September Saw the Delivery of Dash 8-q402 Vh-qom to Qantaslink in Brisbane as C‑frll on the 9th, Saab 340b+ Vh-zry to Regional Express in Wagga Wagga as N901ae on the 22nd, Saab 340b Vh-uyn to Macair in Townsville on the 22nd, and Dash 8-q402 Vh-qon to Qantaslink in Brisbane as C‑frlp on the 30th.

In the Period July-december 2008 Seven Turboprops Departed Our Region and This, Together With the Six That Departed in the Period January-june 2008, Saw a Total of 13 Departures for the Year. This Compares With the 18, 17 and 25 Departing in 2007, 2006 and 2005 Respectively.

The Seven Departures Comprised Four Dash 8‑100s, One Dhc-6-200, One Saab 340a(F) and One Metro 23.

July Saw the Departure of Saab 340a(F) Vh-keq of Regional Express From Wagga Wagga on the 3rd on Delivery to Solinair of Portoroz, Slovenia, to Whom It Was Later Registered S5-bao.

In August Metro 23 Vh-hpg of Aviation Services of Australia Was Cancelled From the Register on the 6th on Its Sale to Aviation Consultants of San Antonio, Texas, as N821ld.

September Departures Were Dash 8-102 Vh-tqn of Qantaslink Which Was Registered 5y-vvn Before Departing Brisbane on the 25th on Delivery to Blue Bird Aviation in Nairobi, and Dash 8-102 Vh-tqo of Qantaslink Which Was Registered 5y-vvr Before Departing Brisbane on the 25th on Delivery to Blue Bird Aviation.
