Emergency Management Queensland’s (Emq) Fleet of Three Aw139s Will Have Their Left-hand-side Mounted Nitesun Searchlights Replaced With a New Lightweight Model Reinstalled on the Right Side, Offering Pilots Optimum Visibility During Remote Location Night Landings.
According to a Report in Brisbane’s Courier Mail in Early June the Queensland Government Will Spend Around $160,000 on Rectifying the Helicopter’s Sx-16 Nitesun Installation, Which the Paper Claimed Was Fitted to the Wrong Side of the Helicopter.
