Seven Ch-47f Chinooks for Adf
the Us Defense Security Cooperation Agency (Dsca) Revealed the Australian Government’s Plan to Acquire Seven Boeing Ch-47f Chinook Helicopters for the Army, as Subsequently Confirmed by the Defence White Paper Released on May 2 (Refer P24 This Issue).
“the Government of Australia Has Requested a Possible Sale of Seven Ch-47f Chinook Helicopters,” an April 23 Dsca Notification to the Us Congress Reads. The Us$560m (a$783m) Request Also Includes Two Spare T55-ga- 714a Engines, Dillon Aero Miniguns, an/arc-201d Radios, Force Xxi Battle Command Brigade and Below Blue Force Trackers, Ground Support Equipment and Other Support Services.
