The Queensland Air Museum (QAM) has long wanted a Mustang in its collection at Caloundra, Queensland.
Given that the price of a complete Mustang is a little out of the price bracket that the QAM could afford one of its members, Gary Scott, elected to build one! A full size metal replica that is. Armed with an Associate Diploma in mechanical Engineering and a love of aeroplanes Gary commenced construction at his residence at Little Mountain on the Sunshine Coast in May 2005.
