China reveals the J-10 fighter

Advances in the development of indigenous Chinese combat aircraft were shown to good effect at the Zhuhai Airshow in November with the public unveiling of the Chengdu Jian-10 (J-10) multi-role fighter.

Despite having already been ‘outed’ with numerous images and descriptions appearing on Chinese and English speaking websites in recent years, the J-10 impressed educated observers and enthusiasts alike with its handling display at Zhuhai, the aircraft’s first official public performance.
