Despite being a surprise appointment to the position of Chief of Air Force this year, Air Marshal Mark Binskin’s prestigious career in the RAAF has not been an overnight success.
Initially a Navy A-4 Skyhawk pilot, he transferred to the RAAF in 1984 after he had completed an exchange flying the Mirage III and the RAN Fleet Air Arm’s fixed wing assets were de-commissioned.
