CASA looks forward on aviation safety

CASA has released its report on the Assessment of Trends and Risk Factors in Passenger Air Transport, which aims to identify how ongoing trends in aviation could pose a risk to safety in Australia.

The assessment is the first of what will hopefully become an ongoing series of investigations into how longer term trends in the industry may have a bearing on safety and risk management on aviation as a whole, rather than on specific operators.
