Two New Air Ambulance Helicopters Will Be Established in Victoria Under a $45. 7 Million State Government Program Announced on April 30, but Neonatal Retrieval Service Lifeflight Will Cease Operations.
The New Funding Will Be Used to Establish a Rescue Helicopter Based at Warnambool in the State’s Southwest, and a Dedicated Adult, Neonatal and Paediatric Retrieval Helicopter Based at Melbourne’s Essendon Airport Which Will Replace the Lifeflight Service.
