Ensuring The Raaf’s Future Leadership Base

The RAAF took a major step towards bolstering its future leadership base with the standing up in January of the new School of Air Warfare (SAW) at RAAF Base East Sale in Victoria’s Gippsland region.

Formerly called the School of Air Navigation, SAW has taken on a much greater role of not only training Air Force navigators and Navy observers, but also in developing a core of skills and talent from which the future leaders of the RAAF will be drawn.
