The viability threshold

Last year was a very good year for the industry generally, bringing with it profitability levels not seen for many years, and certainly not since the events of 2001.

The year saw very significant increases in demand for our services, particularly from the booming resources industry. Many operators have been able to expand and upgrade their fleets to meet the growing demand, to the point where for the first time in decades we are having to face up to a shortage of pilots and engineers in the industry.
