727-51c 9l-lek Departed Cairns for the Former Clark Afb in the Philippines on November 30, as Flight Hvy900. Prior to Departure C8016 Was Painted on the Fuselage, Suggesting the 727’s Registration Will Be Changed to Rp-c8016.

Skytraders A319-115lr Vh-vhd Operated Two Training Flights to Antarctica in This Period. On November 14 Vh-vhd Departed Hobart for Christchurch Where It Remained on the Ground Until November 19 When as ‘ice 319’ It Departed for the American Base at Mcmurdo, Thus Making Its First Landing in Antarctica. On November 12 Vh‑pdw Was Ferried From Bankstown to Launceston From Where It Entered Service That Evening Operating for Toll Holdings on the Launceston to Melbourne Route.

Vh-pdw Was Built as Convair 340-31 Msn 86, and Was Delivered to United Airlines as N73136 in June 1953. In May 1961 It Was Sold to Frontier Airlines, Who Converted It to an Allison 501 Turbine Powered Model 580 in May 1966. In October ’83 N73136 Was Sold to Metro Airlines and in Turn Was Operated by Combs Airways and Metroflight Before Being Sold to Kelowna Flightcraft Charter as C-gkfq in June ’89.

Fokker 100 9a-btd of Sun Adria Arrived in Darwin From Denpasar on October 30 and After Over-nighting Departed for Alice Springs and Melbourne Using the Callsign ‘atlas 030’. It Departed Sydney for Alice Springs, Darwin and Denpassar on November 26 on Its Return Ferry Flight to Europe.
