The A380 era begins

The scribes, sub editors, TV producers and even advertisers had a field day with the first commercial flight of the A380 from Singapore to Sydney.

Superlatives flowed and Singapore Airlines executives were all smiles for the long overdue and much heralded first commercial service. Indeed a “new dawn of aviation” had arrived and the passengers, all of whom were in a party mood, loved it.
