Qantas and Singapore Airlines firm on the 787, Lufthansa launching the 747-8 Intercontinental, FedEx cancelling its A380s and ordering 777-200Fs, Air Berlin’s return to the 737 fold with orders for 75 and Korean Airline’s big buy of 777s and 747-8Fs, were all highlights of a spectacular year.
