Defence Minister Seeks To Alleviate Key Adf Personnel Problems
The new Defence Minister, Mr Ian McLachlan, has outlined an urgent imperative in improving arrangements designed to lead to the retention of Australian Defence Force personnel, especially in areas such as pilots and submariners where resignation rates in recent times have been and still are causing concern.
ADF personnel matters including encouraging recruiting and retaining serving members are among the many key issues he has on his plate in concert with the Minister for Defence Industry, Science and Personnel, Bronwyn Bishop.
