Ansett New Zealand has announced a $NZ2.6m ($A2.3m) operating profit for the year ended June 30, an improvement of $NZ13m over 1993/94 and a $NZ50m improvement over 1992/93. Rolls-Royce’s interim half year result to June 30, incorporating the results of Allison for three months, was an operating profit of £53m ($A110m) and a profit before tax of £70m ($A146m) and sales of £1.6bn ($A3.3bn). In comparison operating profit for the first half of 1994 was £37m and sales were £1.5bn.
