Although Available In Small Numbers As Thedo 335a-1 Single-seat Fighter With A Maximum Speed Of 763 Km/h, The‘pfeil’ Was Never Encountered In Combat. (map)

Western Front Europe Rumours of an unconditional surrender by Germany are rife, especially when Berlin radio announces the death of Hitler, but his successor, Grossadmiral Donitz, pledges that the war will continue. Many U-boats begin leaving from north German seaports. Dozens are at sea en route to Norway.
