The Penn Yan Aero Service has obtained FAA approval for its 180hp (135kV/l) Piper PA-18-150 Super Cub conversion. The Lycoming 0-360 powered Super Cub, renamed Tiger Cub by Penn Yan promises a 40% reduction in takeoff distance and greatly improved climb performance. The Lycoming 0-360 conversions 11wolve a redesigned oil cooler for better cooling and lower cylinder head temperatures. Penn Yan also produces the popular Super Hawk engine conversion for the Cessna 172

Learjet Demonstration Tour Takes in Australia:
The recent demonstration tour to Australia by Learjet’s model 60 flagship came days after a successful campaign at Aslan Aerospace in Singapore, reports Julian Green.
Both Learjet and Aeromil, the regional distributor for the stylish aircraft, have been encouraged by the interest shown in Australia during the one week demonstration tour which is aimed at increasing awareness of the Learjet product in a market that has seen little activity during the recent recession.
