Lloyd Helicopters’ Founder Dies

Guy Lloyd, the founder of one of the most successful helicopter companies in Australia, has died at the early age of 48 through cancer.

His death comes only months after the sale of the company to the UK firm of Bond Helicopters in what was reputed to be a multi million dollar deal. At the time of the sale, Lloyd Helicopters was operating a fleet of 35 aircraft supported by a staff of some 200.
