Hunting Takes Flight Calibration a Step Towards the Future

With the CM soon to announce the winning tender for operating Australia’s airways calibration contract, a British firm has pioneered a cost effective and novel solution to what previously was an overly expensive operation. 

When it comes to landing an aircraft, particularly a large passenger jet, there is no doubt that whatever instrument landing system or navigation aid is being used it must be in perfect tune.

Keeping such instruments in tune is a highly specialised operation – one which has kept UK based Hunting Aviation Services at the forefront of flight calibration and inspection using the system it developed called Navcal.
