Boeing has completed the first 777 flight deck simulator which will be used to integrate flight systems for the widebody twinjet. To cater for airline demand, the cockpit design has been based on the 747-400 rather than the 767 twinjet.

Boeing Forecasts SUS617 bn Jetliner Market:
The 1991 annual Boeing Current Market Outlook report estimates that between 1991 and 2005 the international commercial jet market will require nearly 9,000 new aircraft valued at $US617bn (1991 dollars).
