Beechcraft agents, Hawker Pacific are to definitely import a Beechjet demonstrator and plan to have the new lightweight corporate jet in-country by next February. HP's have also assigned Bryce Ducker as their specialist Beechjet marketing director. AustralianAviation looks forward to air-testing the new aircraft in a future edition.

Bankstown Grows:
Airport Director Howard Knox reports that traffic at Bankstown Airport in Sydney is rocketing ahead despite some variations from month to month.
Movements rose by under 3% in June 1987 over the previous year but July was up by a surprising 22%. In the calender year to July 1987, 19. 3% more aircraft used Bankstown than in the same period of 1986. This trend is still increasing.
