USA Tour for Firefly Planned

Although in its formative stages plans are being made for the unique Fairey Firefly, VH-HWM, to be shipped to the USA in 1986 and displayed there. The machine will later return to Australia.

Owned by well-known identity Mike Wansey, the Firefly, called ‘Mickey Mouse’, has been a popular Warbird at the East Coast Airshows since it was put back in the air late in 1984.
