• A detachment of three Grumman Trackers from No. 831 Squadron HMAS Albatross, Nowra, are presently carrying out Operation Trochus 75. Based at Broome they are patrolling West Australian waters to ensure that Indonesian and Taiwanese boats do not illegally land along the coast.

• Nationwide Air Services Pty. Ltd. , Australian and South Pacific area distributors of the GAF Nomad, received the first Nomad to be delive- red at Sydney on 30 April. This was in fact the second production aircraft, VH-AUI having been the first.
