Interair Doing Well:
lnterair, barely more than one year old, are doing nicely with its product range of Mitsubishi and Partenavia aircraft. During the first twelve months of operation lnterair sold seven P.68 Partenavia twins and is finding that despite the recession, interest in this six-place twin is increasing. literary also hopes to have the first AP.68 TP ready for a demonstration tour in early 1983. This aircraft is basically a stretched (26 inches) P.68 using de-rated Allison 250 turboprops of 330 shp. The TP is aimed at the single pilot commuter market and with eight/ nine seats, long TBOs and an estimated price in the region of $600,000 should see much interest locally. literary will also have its first Diamond jet on the local register by early 1983.
