Ansett General Aviation has just received the first of several Piper Cheyenne il propjets. The Cheyenne III is powered by two 720 shp Pratt & Whitney PT6A-41 turboprops and has a cruise speed in the 320 mph range at 33,000 ft. The maximum range is 2000 nautical miles and the Cheyenne III can accommodate up to nine passengers. Cheyenne III is aimed at the top end of the booming project market with the Beech King Air, Gulfstream Commander 1000 and Merlin B offering the competition
