AADR PROUDLY PRESENTS ITS FIRST ANNUAL LISTING OF THE THIRD LEVEL AIRLINES OF AUSTRALIA, COMPILED BY MIKE CLAYTON.

Before listing our Third Level Airlines, a small dialogue regarding the excitement that these companies are bringing to our aviation scene. From the beginnings in the late sixties, despite many, many attempts and failures along the way, we are now seeing the emergence of a goodly number of solidly based, efficiently managed airlines providing both low and high-frequency services into many of those townships unable to support the level of service offered by the big three (Ansett, TAA and EastWest).

From beginnings with single-engined aircraft through six then up to 1 0 seaters, our Third Level Airlines are moving into 18/20 seater sized airliners and placing orders for the next generation of aircraft in the 30 seat category.
