A Royal Australian Air Force F-111 heads out to the Nellis ranges on Feb. 14, 2006 during Red Flag 06-1 being held at Nellis AFB, Nev., Jan. 21-Feb. 18. Red Flag tests aircrewsí war-fighting skills in realistic combat situations. Flights will involve more than 85 aircraft ranging from B-2 Spirit bombers to F-16 Fighting Falcons. The aircraft will be flying missions during the day and night to the nearby Nevada Test and Training Range where they will simulate an air war.
