The new air defence laser system reportedly defeated 100 per cent of targets during a live firing trial held at the Vidsel Test Range in Sweden.

Developed through major collaboration with Kaurna custodians, the Keeping Place is designed to be the central point on base as a meeting place for Defence and the broader Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to come together for ceremony, education, kinship and heritage.

The plans, announced by the company last week, are envisioned to help adapt the division’s organisation and workforce in light of a continued complex business environment, especially in the space systems segment where significant financial charges were recorded in 2023 and 2024.

US Central Command confirmed that the aircraft had conducted multiple precision airstrikes on numerous Iran-backed underground weapons storage facilities within Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen, according to a statement published on October 16.

The demonstration took place in France and Italy from 30 September to 9 October and involved multiple manned helicopters and unmanned systems connected to a single network.

The two-year trial scheme will allegedly provide a $1,000 payment to any ADF member, including those in the RAAF, who helps ease current recruitment issues by recruiting additional personnel.
