The company has announced the milestone as it employs around 250 staff in Sydney, including 200 engineers.

The contract with Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) will fund enhancements to both the aircraft and ground systems over the next decade.

The milestone includes combat operations conducted by all three variants of the aircraft. Notably, November 2024 marked the first time the carrier-based F-35C was deployed in combat, successfully striking targets in contested airspace.
