In a significant intervention, AIPA president Tony Lucas said the airline needs another four 787s on top of the three due to arrive by the winter.   

The event – curated by Australian Aviation’s sister brand Defence Connect – will be held at the Four Seasons Hotel on 3 May and hosted by former Defence Minister Christopher Pyne.

Qantas has begun interviewing executives to replace long-standing CEO Alan Joyce, with a decision expected as early as the end of next month.
