‘Drone delivery is now normal in Logan’
The head of Google Wing in Australia, Jesse Suskin, updates us on the company’s progress in Australia
Back in August, Australian Aviation relaunched its print magazine with a look inside Google Wing in Logan, Queensland. You may not realise it, but the tech giant has quietly shifted to conducting more deliveries with its devices in Australia than anywhere else in the world. But since we last spoke, Google moved one step closer to the holy grail of being able to pick up packages directly from stores by setting up a mini distribution centre on the top of the Grand Plaza shopping mall in Logan. Here, Jesse Suskin, Google Wing’s head of government relations, talks us through its progress.
