Craig Murray shot this German-registered Embraer Phenom 100EV, D-ISOV, arriving into Archerfield, Brisbane, from Ayers Rock (Uluru). The EV is an upgraded version of the earlier Phenom 100 and 100E and is certified for single-pilot operations. With the potential to carry up to four passengers, it has a range of 2,000km.

In February, the RAAF took part in Exercise Cope North 2024 in Guam alongside the US Air Force and Japan Air Self-Defense Force. In this spectacular shot, a B-52 Stratofortress is flanked by aircraft including a F/A-18D Hornet, EA-18G Growler, F-2, F-15C Eagle, F-15MC Eagle, F-16CM Fighting Falcon and U-125A. A RAAF C-17A Globemaster transports two BK117 helicopters to Antarctica. The mission was part of the Australian Antarctic Program, an initiative that sees the Australian government work with research institutions globally to study the region, using science to unlock the secrets of the past and predict future climate changes. Australia has eight C-17s, all operated by No. 36 Squadron and based at RAAF Base Amberley.
