After an extraordinary half-century career, Air New Zealand’s longest-serving cabin crew member, Ron Twine, has finally flown his last sector.
Over the course of 53 years, Ron, now 74, has seen myriad changes at Air New Zealand, made lifelong friends, flown more celebrities than any of us might hope to meet, and even found the love of his life. After settling into a well-deserved retirement at home in Christchurch, he recently shared the story of his astounding life in the air with the Australian Aviation podcast.
