As Australia barrels towards a full recovery in its flight schedules, could we lose our workforce to overseas airlines?
Contrary to popular belief, Australia’s national carrier Qantas did not face its most significant challenge to date in March 2020, despite seeing its projected revenue take a nosedive to the tune of $25 billion. No, instead, Qantas faces greatest battle today.
Seven back-to-back flight incidents within the space of a week left Qantas splashed across the news headlines. Of course, those of us that are tuned into the industry know that mishaps like this occur every day all across the world and that most of these turn-backs or emergency landings were made out of an abundance of caution.
