Things are really heating up behind the scenes of new budget entrant Bonza as it took delivery of its second Boeing 737 MAX, VH-UIK on Saturday, 29 October. The jet took off from Calgary in Canada sporting its fresh ‘Bonza purple’ livery on 26 October before making two quick stopovers in Honolulu and Fiji. VH-UIK was met by Bonza at its Sunshine Coast base early on 29 October, before being dubbed formally as ‘Bazza’. Bazza was quickly introduced to the first Bonza MAX, VH-UJT, which has been dubbed ‘Shazza’. Shazza will be the spare aircraft of the airline’s original operating fleet.
