Opinion: A New Vision for Post-COVID Aviation

General aviation is primed for a positive future in the post-pandemic world.

There is no doubt general aviation has been hit hard over the last two years, however the sector has proven to be resilient, and the good news is the future is positive.

If anything, “the COVID-19 pandemic has helped highlight the sector’s national significance – as a key driver for the economy, job-creation, and community wellbeing and connectedness” (Barnaby Joyce, Aviation Recovery Framework, Flying to Recovery, December 2021).
