MUSEUM UPDATE
The Australian National Aviation Museum is in high spirits at present with several changes. The museum has elected to go back to its older name, the Moorabbin Air Museum, the name that so many people seem to know the museum by. The name Australian National Aviation Museum will still be on the letter head but in smaller letters. The museum has its original name of the Australian Aircraft Restoration Group further in the background but the name Moorabbin Air Museum will be the one that tells all where and what the museum is and what it is about.
The good news from the MAM is that a lease has been signed with the airport lease holder, the Goodman Group, for the museum to expand into a new museum building to be built at 24 First St.
