B-17 crash brings out the worst in some

When B-17 ‘9-0-9’ crashed with fatalities on landing at Bradley Field, Connecticut, the scene was not even cold before the cry went up to ground all warbird aircraft.

Dozens of Americans are killed in car accidents each day yet there is no shout to stop all motor vehicles being driven on the highways. The post-event cries are a reflection of today’s society looking for simplistic fixes and sometime self publicity.
