Bittersweet resolve in wake of tough decisions

June was a bittersweet month for our race team. The racing action in the Red Bull Air Race World Championship resumed, but only after there had been an announcement from Red Bull that the series would not continue beyond 2019.

Not only did they announce the discontinuation, they also slashed the series from eight races to just four – including the first event in Abu Dhabi in February. The decision was one that will have a far-reaching impact for many, not least the fans who have supported the world championship so passionately.
