In this issue we report the withdrawal from service of a Qantas 747-438 and the delivery of an A320-200 to Jetstar Japan.

747-438 VH-OJT Fraser Island was withdrawn from service on September 22 in Los Angeles after operating QF55 from Brisbane. VH-OJT then spent three days in Los Angeles where it had its Kangaroo and Qantas titles removed before it was ferried on September 25 to Mojave where the aircraft will be reduced to produce.
