Airports, airlines stoush over airport fees and investment

Australia’s airports are in the midst of a significant capital works program to increase capacity and update existing infrastructure at a time when all indications point to a near doubling of passenger traffic over the next two decades.

A bigger terminal at Adelaide, new runways at Brisbane and Perth and a rebuilt domestic precinct for Virgin Australia at Melbourne are just three examples up on the drawing board.
