Aviation boards must have members with aviation experience

It is sometimes tempting for the aviation industry to ignore what is happening in the rest of the country and the economy. This is particularly true when writing for the aviation trade papers. Our industry is complex and technically demanding. It is a full-time job just to keep abreast of the latest aviation challenges and opportunities. However, sometimes we need to look at the bigger picture.
