It goes without saying; every pilot needs a decent watch. Even with a well equipped flight deck which might have two or three sources from which to ascertain the time, it is amazing how natural it is for some (especially the more mature aviators amongst us) to look to our wrists to check the time. With the rise of smart watch technology, Australian Aviation has decided to take a look at a new smart watch device which is aimed at aviators; the Garmin D2 Charlie.

The Garmin D2 Charlie is the latest incarnation of the D2 aviator watch, with the main difference from the previous versions being some enhancements to performance, screen size and build features.
