Wasp and Black Hornet mini UASs to provide Army’s troops with eyes in the skies
With no air force of its own, Islamic State has been outfitting small unmanned aircraft with small bombs, not very accurate but occasionally inflicting casualties and death on the Iraqi military and Kurdish forces.
Their video footage – there is plenty of it on YouTube – shows these modest warheads wobbling down towards their targets, mostly missing and likely scaring the bejesus out of soldiers on the ground.
