RMIT inspired by Fly Your Ideas

Melbourne’s RMIT University has made another strong showing in this year’s Airbus’s Fly Your Ideas student competition with a runner-up place for three students who proposed setting up a United Nations-backed fleet of A400M heavy lift transports ready to fight bushfires around the world at a moment’s notice.

However, Graham Dorrington from RMIT’s School of Engineering says there is little time to bask in the result’s afterglow as planning is well underway for not just the 2019 but indeed future editions of the highly regarded competition.
